Before You Build, You Must Subtract: A Call to Obedience and Identity
Before any true foundation is laid, there must first be subtraction. To build anything righteous, the excess must be cleared—the lies, the ego, the false identity, the fear-based obedience that religion tries to push. The Most High isn’t calling us to Him through manipulation or fear. That’s not His way. Anything that’s forced is not Yah. Yah is love, truth, and freedom—and He wants us to come to Him in spirit and in truth.
His promises are real, eternal, and unchanging. The same yesterday, today, and forever. They are the anchor in a world constantly shifting. But in order to walk in those promises, we must strip away what was never ours to carry.
Study to Show Yourself Approved
2 Timothy 2:15 reminds us to “Study to show thyself approved unto God.” That’s not just about knowing the scriptures, it’s about living them. It’s about aligning your heart, your actions, and your mind with the truth Yah has spoken. Approval by the Most High doesn’t come from performance—it comes from relationship. From obedience. From submission.
We Are Not Lost—We Are Being Restored
We come from a people who were given a false god, a false name, a false history. But the Most High is in the business of restoration. He’s giving back what was taken: our culture, our identity, our authority. And in that process of divine subtraction, Yah begins to reveal who we truly are—not just to us, but to the world.
Because when you know who you are, Yah will confirm it to those around you. You won’t have to say a word. Your walk will testify. Your obedience will shine. Your submission will carry power.
Obedience Unlocks Heaven
Obedience and submission to the Most High are not chains—they are keys. They break the yoke of bondage. They open the portals of Heaven. They invite the Ruach (Spirit) to dwell and move in your life. When you show up surrendered, Yah shows out with favor, revelation, and power.
This is the season to subtract what doesn’t serve the Most High. Let go of the traditions of men. Let go of fear-based worship. And return to the root. Return to your culture. Return to your Creator.
Stay submitted. Stay obedient. And watch Yah elevate you in ways the world can’t explain.
